Sealed packs are packaging collectibles. The cards matter, but the wrapper, crimp, plastic and box corners often determine whether buyers trust the item.
Environment first
Keep packs away from direct sun and heat.
Avoid damp basements and humid closets.
Use stable room conditions rather than repeated hot-cold cycles.
Track humidity with a simple monitor if the collection has meaningful value.
Support the pack
Do not force old packs into tight sleeves. Store raw wax packs flat, avoid heavy stacking and use acid-free boxes or appropriately sized protective cases. Slabs should stand or stack without pressure on the label area.
Boxes and cases
Use archival sleeves or team bags for raw packs when they fit safely.
Use rigid storage boxes for sealed hobby boxes.
Keep dust off shrink wrap without polishing or scrubbing it.
Separate fragile cello from sharp box corners and heavy slabs.
