For sealed packs, the wrapper is part of the collectible. Condition is not cosmetic trivia. It is evidence, presentation and buyer confidence rolled into one.
Condition factors
Clean, intact crimps.
Stable wrapper folds without fresh-looking disturbance.
No tears, pinholes, tape or glue residue.
Minimal stains, wax transfer or surface rubbing.
Crisp shape without crushing or hard bends.
Cello and plastic
Cello clarity matters. Yellowing, cloudiness, brittleness, splits and stretched corners can all reduce buyer interest even when the pack is still unopened.
Slab condition
Graded packs still have slab condition. Scratches, cracks, label damage and loose internal movement can affect display and resale appeal.
