Sold Comps Lab for Sealed Packs

A hands-on workflow for comparing sold sealed-pack listings by format, condition and confidence.

The Sold Comps Lab is the method behind the site: search narrowly, separate formats, compare condition and ignore unsupported outliers.

Step 1: isolate the format

Run one search for wax.
Run one search for cello.
Run one search for rack or blister.
Run graded and raw separately.
Run sealed boxes separately from loose packs.

Step 2: sort by confidence

Strong comps have clear photos, specific format language, actual sold status and condition that resembles your target item. Weak comps have vague titles, poor photos, questionable authenticity or wildly inconsistent pricing.

Step 3: build a price range

Use several sold examples.
Discard obvious outliers unless repeated.
Adjust for wrapper condition, visibility, grade and box provenance.
Use current listings only after sold comps establish the baseline.

Use current listings for supply, then sold results for demand. Treat every listing as unverified until the photos and seller history support it.
